Read the free book Gold Wars from the late Ferdinand Lips (download for free from Fame.org website). You can also buy the book in physical form, so you sponsor the movement as well.
Donate to the gold quest of Dr Lawrence Parks (see his video on ConstitutionalMoney.org website). Alternatively financially aid any of the related speakers at the GATA conference.
Vote and promote for Ron Paul as president of the United States 2012 (go to RonPaul.com website). Ron Paul is actively working on getting sound money in the United States of America.
Start to follow Willem Middelkoop, author of the Dutch books 'Als de dollar valt' (When the Dollar crashes) and 'Goud en het geheim van geld' (Gold and the Secret of Money) (see his website Willem-Middelkoop.nl). In The Netherlands he is one of the pioneers to the public awareness of the dollar crisis and gold as sound money.
Buy physical pure gold bars tax-free (invest 10% to 25% of your wealth in gold, not for speculative but for protectional reasons) from the bank and store it in a (remote) bank vault or other safe (or even foreign) place. Optionally also buy physical silver which is not tax-free by the way.
Become debt-free and live on much less than you earn so you can financially protect yourself against rising standards of living (hyperinflation and debt-defaulting). Live in financial freedom and secure your (multiple) income streams.
Actively educate your friends and acquaintances about this subject matter so they can take the necessary actions too. The next person may create enough critical mass to trigger the advancement to a worldwide society based on sound money.

This is my personal recommendation to others. Before taking action it would be wise to consult a financial professional first and also your own common-sense.
